Uniform:
Every drill weekend you must bring dungarees, PT Gear and BDU's.
We often will be wearing BDU's, so they must be complete
and up to regulations!
Unit:
Recruiting is most important at this time....we have our new home
and we need to double our numbers. Remember that if anyone
recruits 2 cadets that stay at least one year you will be awarded 1
free training from NHQ. Recruiting can also gain you a ribbon.
If you have ideas on gaining
cadets, send them to the XO or CO.
Recruiting:
Do you
enjoy spending time with friends?
Do you like sharing stories of your adventures with Sea
Cadets? Why not invite
them to the next drill?
Have them check our website at
www.westmiseacadets.org.
If there is interest pass the name along to ENS Troyer or
LTJG Troyer or email recruit@westmiseacadets.org.
RECRUIT! RECRUIT! RECRUIT!
Communication: Please take
care to check your email. There are often emails sent that are
important! If you are not receiving emails from the XO and/or
CO, please make contact to correct the issue.
DONATIONS
NEEDED:
Shoe boxes are still needed!!
West Michigan Division can always use supporters…know anyone
willing to donate money, time, effort?
Send them our way!
The plan of the month contains official information.
Failure to comply or not be aware of the information it contains is considered to be failure to obey a direct order from the commanding officer. Saying "I don't know" wont work.
Each cadet is given a copy of the POM at the end of each drill. If a cadet is absent, the POM is mailed to their home.
Each cadet should also give the POM to their parents so they can also know what's going on. Parents need this information in order to make plans and help you. They cannot do that if they don't have the information.
CHAIN OF
COMMAND:
If the occasion should arise that you
have an emergency, question, or can’t make it to drill or other
activities, please contact someone.
Remember to use the proper chain of command!
